A sustainable experience through game mechanics
The latest in our series of picks from Brunel’s designers comes from Efua Mensah-Ansong. The video she selected shows how tapping into human desire for playful experiences increased usage of a neighbourhood recycling bin.
This relates to MEX Pathway #7, entitled: ‘Express sustainable values in user experience‘. Pathway #7 is explored in more detail at the next MEX event on 4th/5th May in London, where Efua will be part of a team of designers from Brunel working with the MEX community of industry leaders from mobile, media and digital. The Brunel teams will help the MEX facilitators as they lead participants through a series of working sessions to generate new ideas in response to the Pathways.
The MEX speaking agenda also features presentations on Pathway #7 from Simon East, CEO of DriveGain, and Franco Papeschi, Service Design Expert at The Web Foundation. Papeschi will lead the working session on Pathway #7.
