The founder of the Wellcome Collection, Sir Henry Wellcome, was a remarkable man, amassing over a million objects in his lifetime. Even more remakable is that he thought ahead to preserve and share his collection through a range of ‘open platforms’, including a gallery in London, travelling exhibitions and now this online resource. |
