The user

Taking on the theme of a rising cultural change in which the nation interacts less and less my product will try to stop this social meltdown. Whether it is a new gaming console mobile phone or through the booming internet industry products are promoting us to have less face-to-face contact. Too often people get into a routine and fail to appreciate the benefits of having like minded people around them. The product aimed at the 9-5 working community takes advantage of this by trying to promote out of work activities.

Persona 1

Mark Willett (age: 23).

Mark is 23 and has been working at the office for a year. He is in a long standing relationship with his University girlfriend but is feeling pressure from all around to take it the next step. Marriage. He himself does want kids and loves the girl but he doesn’t want to forced into anything without thinking about it. He is trying to find points of common interest to have interaction beyond the work place and is friendly to everyone in any way he can be just to get known. He has ambitions to progress to the top of the company where the 'money' is. He likes active sports; skiing mountain climbing.

The experience

müllerPlanner, through the interactive online müllerWorld, enables and encourages colleagues to communicate and suggest activities or events for social interaction outside of the office walls. Whether it is to go for a drink or a meal, or to catch up for a film or a session of sport, the müllerPlanner will alert you of any invitation. Simply by picking up your müllerPlanner, with a series of shakes you can respond to say whether you are able to attend. The müllerWorld offers a chance to see more specific details about events and on purchasing the product; the ability to personalise the form and colour of your müllerPlanner.
