This is where you describe your target user. The best mobile user experiences make the customer feel as if the product or service has been designed for them personally.
Introduce us to your user in as much detail as possible. They can be a real person or someone you've imagined. We want to know who they are what they do what they love what they hate hold old they are and any other details which will help us understand how your entry is designed to meet their particular requirements.
This is where you tell us about your product, service, idea or experience.
You can submit pretty much any mobile user experience (within reason!) to the MEX Design Competition. Here are some examples of the kind of entries we welcome:
This part of the submission should be a summary or overview of your entry. Try to keep it concise (2 or 3 paragraphs) and use this opportunity to tell us why your entry is particularly suited to the needs of your target user.
The main part of your submission is the PDF file you upload alongside your entry. This is where you have complete creative freedom to illustrate your ideas with screenshots, diagrams and annotations.
You can also link to a video file, e.g. a YouTube video, to show us your entry in action.
Check out the ‘PDF’ and ‘Video’ links below to see how this works. The PDF is a sample and the YouTube video is an interview with one of the speakers who will be appearing at our 2008 MEX conference.
