Dining club

Our dining club is a series of informal gatherings bringing together friends from the MEX community who share an interest in digital experience design.

There are no presentations or pitches, just good food and good company enjoyed with a group of fellow designers, strategists and technologists.

Most editions of the dining club include some of those who’ve been guests on the podcast, participated at the conference or contributed to the journal.

How to join

Everyone is welcome, but there are a limited number of places at each edition of the dining club.

If you’d like to come along, just get in touch to request your invitation or to receive updates about future events.

The digital canvas is expanding. The screen-to-body ratio of the latest smartphones is pushing the limits of engineering, while devices likes the 12.9″ iPad Pro feel more like posters than tablets. In the work place, Microsoft is preparing to introduce large, wall mounted touchscreens in the form of the Surface Hub 2. Combined with a modular approach which allows several Surface Hubs to be used as a single device, designers can now create touchscreen canvases wider than the human arm span. What new services will be enabled by all these extra pixels and what new challenges will it pose for the creators entrusted with ensuring good experience in this more expansive digital world?
