Continuing our series of articles to introduce you to the speakers at the MEX conference, we’re pleased to welcome Kristoffer Aberg, Senior Interaction Designer at Sony Ericsson.

Kristoffer will speak on the panel entitled ‘Innovations in software interfaces and industrial design‘ on Day One (6th September) at MEX. When we asked him to summarise his role in 160 characters (the length of a text message), he told us:

“Since 1997 my work has revolved around future mobile services and concepts and the underlying research and design that fuels innovation in co-operation with customers and consumers.”

Sony Ericsson’s design renaissance has been well documented in recent months, with critical acclaim for its K750i and W800i devices. After a difficult couple of years following the formation of the joint venture between Ericsson and Sony, the handset manufacturer is now setting trends as a design leader and – according to IDC figures – is now challenging for number 4 spot in market share.
