We’ve been asking all of our speakers at MEX: The PMN Mobile User experience conference to summarise who they are, what they do and why in a 160 character ‘SMS’ message. Given his position as a founder and corporate development director at text messaging pioneer Flytxt, it is hardly surprising that Pamir has supplied the most creative ‘bio’ so far:

When he’s not texting, Pamir is a leading authority in digital direct marketing
and is a frequent speaker at key industry events. He was recently named as
one of the UK’s Top 100 in Direct Marketing by Direct Marketing magazine. Inspired by a vision of how one-to-one marketing will forever be changed by
the advent of mobile telephony, Pamir drives the company’s product and
business strategy.

Prior to Flytxt, Pamir worked at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in London,
where he analysed and structured private equity and venture capital
investments in the technology and wireless telecommunications sectors. Pamir
received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Summa Cum Laude
from Duke University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from
Columbia University. He is fluent in English, French, German and Turkish.
