MEX covered by everyone from BBC to blogs
One of our key objectives for the MEX conference is to raise awareness of user experience in the mainstream media and as a strategic issue in the mobile industry.
We were delighted to receive coverage of the event across broadcast, print and web media. Here’s a selection:
The BBC ran a radio interview with PMN’s Editorial Director and MEX conference co-founder Marek Pawlowski on the opening day of the event, highlighting mobile user experience issues to the global audience of BBC World Service.
Mobile Entertainment Magazine published a web report the day after the conference entitled ‘Conventional thinking challenged at MEX’. They have a further double page feature planned in the June issue of the magazine.
Unstrung reported Vodafone’s flat-rate data pricing announcement from MEX.
Rod McLaren of Mobbu published a blog entry on the event, including a series of pencil drawings illustrating the conference and speakers.
Christian Lindholm also wrote a blog entry.
Nancy Broden posted a number of reports to the IdleMode blog. She also linked in to the general Flickr stream on MEX.
The UK Mobile Report has this interview with MEX keynote Mark Rolston.
Symbian Guru picked up on the presentation by another of our keynotes, Cliff Crosbie.
Rudy de Waele of M-Trends has published a photo gallery on Flickr and our official event photographer Sarah Jones captured the spirit of the event for our own gallery.
