Nokia Mural The Nokia Mural provides an excellent example of how previously fixed elements of the user experience, such as the colour of the handset casing, are becoming flexible and subject to user choice. The handset, produced by Nokia in partnership with AT&T for the US market, enables users to programme the exterior colour of the handset from software using a special cover screen technology. Another example of this trend is haptic technology, which can add the feeling of texture to screens and casings through the use of software and vibration motors.
