mHealth Summit puts issue on policy agenda

Next month (08 – 10 Nov) Washington DC will play host to the mHealth Summit, an event intended to put the role of mobile devices and wireless technology on the agenda of government healthcare policy makers. The speakers include Bill Gates, Ted Turner and Aneesh Chopra, CTO at the White House.

Events like these play an important role in highlighting the potential for mobile healthcare and encouraging investment.

The next MEX in London on 30 Nov – 01 Dec has a specific Pathway, #5, dedicated to ‘Creating best practice for the user experience of mobile health services‘, including expert speakers from TheAlloy and Philips. User experience is critical to the adoption of mobile technology in healthcare and wellbeing, making complex services accessible to those who need it most and helping to overcome sensitive cultural barriers to technology-led care.
