Point # 9 of the manifesto states: “The mobile experience is limited to voice and text by in-efficient search and discovery mechanisms. We think any service should be accessible from the standby screen and it should be as simple as dialling a number. ”
Menz, who will deliver a keynote presentation to respond to this statement, told us: “An integrated approach to physical and digital interaction is crucial to supporting service access. I will discuss alternative approaches that maximise the growing capabilities of mobile devices and question what is essential to the experience.”
He joins a wide range of industry leaders who will address the 10 points of the MEX manifesto and inspire a series of breakout groups and panel debates where delegates will set the user experience agenda for the next 12 months in the mobile business.
