Meet the speakers: Falk Mueller-Veerse, Cartagena Capital

Falk is one of the user experience experts we’ve appointed to lead the breakout groups at the MEX conference on 2nd – 3rd May 2007. Everyone attending MEX joins one of several focused teams for the duration of the event. The teams are led by top user experience experts – the facilitators – who will help you make the most out of the group discussions.

Bio

Falk Müller-Veerse, an experienced investment and corporate finance professional focussed on technology and in particular the mobile telecom industry, is the founder and Managing Partner of Cartagena Capital GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. He currently serves on the board of convisual, a listed German provider of mobile applications, and on the advisory board of Servista, a private UK provider of sophisticated outsourcing solutions. Earlier Falk headed the German operations of investment bank Durlacher (now Lazard) and worked in various management and consulting roles at Logica Consulting, Gartner Group, McGraw-Hill and Nokia. Falk received an MBA from CSUSB in the US, studied International Business at Helsinki School of Economics and completed his undergraduate studies in Management & Technology at the Technical University Kaiserslautern, Germany.

We asked each facilitator to tell us why they were taking part at MEX and this is what Falk told us…

I want to participate because I believe the mobile industry needs to change its way of doing things if it really wants the mobile internet to reach everybody’s pocket.
