The New Yorker has an interesting 30 minute video presentation by Younghee Jung of Nokia about how our usage of mobile devices may evolve in the near future (five years or so). Jung explains Nokia’s approach to user understanding and provides some insight into how Nokia is changing its design approach to improve its understanding of female users and give them greater involvement in the product creation process.

On a related note, the BBC has an interview with another Nokia researcher looking at international trends for the Finnish manufacturer.
