Meet the speakers: Bryan Rieger, Designer, Yiibu

Bryan Rieger, Designer, YiibuBryan returns to MEX to build on a widely acclaimed session he delivered earlier in the year, exploring which prototyping methods can be most effectively employed when iterating multi-platform user experience.

Bryan is a designer, writer and reluctant developer with a background originating in theatre design and classical animation. Over his career he’s worked across various media, including print, broadcast, the web and more recently mobile for clients such as Apple, Microsoft, Nokia and Symbian. Bryan found his passion for all things mobile while on sabbatical in South East Asia watching people do simply amazing – and unexpected things – with their personal devices.

In 2008, with his partner Stephanie he founded Yiibu – a boutique design studio located in London, UK to service a few special clients around the world. Most days he can be found designing and prototyping experiences for a variety of consumer products and services, but every once in a while Bryan can also be found organising a Mobile Design UK event somewhere around London.

His session is entitled ‘What are the best techniques for proto-typing user experiences across multiple platforms? ‘.
