PMN & NOC announce partnership to raise awareness of user experience

PMN, the mobile market intelligence firm, and the NOC (Network for Online Commerce), the leading trade association for fixed and mobile network service providers, have agreed a partnership to raise awareness of user experience issues within the mobile telecoms industry.

The agreement will see the NOC endorsing PMN’s Mobile User Experience (MEX) conference and promoting the event to its membership. The companies will also work together to publish market commentary exploring user experience issues relating to premium mobile content services.

The NOC will be a supporting association at the next MEX conference in London on 31st May and 1st June 2006. PMN has also agreed to contribute to a special knowledge and networking evening for NOC members on 6th April 2006. The session, run in partnership with 160characters.org, will be chaired by Marek Pawlowski, Editorial Director at PMN.

“User experience is becoming a strategic priority throughout mobile industry and the NOC is a valuable partner in raising awareness of these issues through its membership of operators and service providers,” commented Pawlowski.

Andrew Darling, Director of Industry Affairs, NOC said: “The NOC is delighted to form this partnership. It underlines our commitment to raising awareness of key industry issues among our members and helping to facilitate a successful mobile content market for all.”
