Video interview: Nuance and the user experience of multiple input modalities

Philippe Jeanrenaud, Marketing Director at Nuance, talks to Marek Pawlowski, founder of the MEX Conference, about the user experience of supporting multiple input modalities on mobile devices, including voice recognition and predictive text.

This video relates to MEX Manifesto No. 5, entitled ‘Investment in input and display modalities must increase‘.

These issues will be one of the key agenda themes at the MEX Conference on 19th and 20th May in London. An in-depth exploration session will start with two keynote presentations from Philippe Jeanrenaud and Steve Martin (VP of Engineering at Monotype Imaging) to provoke and inspire the audience.

These talks will then be followed by an interactive workshop, where 100 of the mobile industry’s most creative thinkers will be challenged to think differently about the complete cycle of data input experience on mobile devices, from how we can enhance the experience of creating information to how that information can best be displayed in a visual form.

Join us at MEX to help the mobile industry set the user experience agenda for the next 12 months. Delegate passes are priced at GBP 1499. MEX sells out in advance each year, so please register as soon as possible to guarantee your seat.
