Owning and publishing a title is different from the Flipboard-generation of snacking on information consumption. It requires the creation of a style, atmosphere and nurturing a community. Know what you stand for and remain true to it. — Rich Clayton, Founder, Monkey Mischief speaking at MEX14
The tools we use to consume information are changing faster than ever, but fundamental principles remain. Users gravitate towards sources of consumption which reflect their affinities and engender a sense of community. Such communities offer the potential to create digital experiences which outlive and deliver longer lasting value than those which prioritise high volume, low value snacks of consumption.
