MEX note: Luke Wroblewski continues his series of Monday morning stats with this interesting data set exploring the shift in consumer sentiment from PCs to tablets. It is something we've been observing in user interviews here at MEX for some time: once present in a household, tablets almost always become the computing device of choice. Make no mistake, the majority of digital interactions are migrating to mobile devices connected to wireless networks, and the tablet form factor will be a large part of that mix. One of the headline numbers from Wroblewski: in H1 2011, sales of the iPad alone generated 30% more revenue than the whole of Dell's consumer PC business.
