Charity Initiative: Taking on the UK Ironman in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust
On 7th September, Matt Fletcher and I will be attempting to complete the UK Ironman challenge to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Trust.
We’d be enormously grateful for any donations to the CF Trust, which can be made via our page on the JustGiving web-site.
An Ironman consists a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride and finishes with running a full marathon of 26.2 miles. We’ve both done a bit of running and biking in the past, but this is much bigger than anything we’ve attempted before and knowing we can make a contribution to a worthy charity will be a big motivator to help us to the finish line.
You can find out more about the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust here.
If anyone would like to make a donation on behalf of a company and would like to have the company name mentioned in the next MEX newsletter, please drop me a mail and I will be very happy to do so.
Donate via our page on the JustGiving web-site.
